Google pays homage to an architectural genius with its latest doodle


Google often pays tribute to remarkable people of history with a special doodle on its homepage.

Today, Google has honored the ground breaking architect Zaha Hadid — who passed away one year ago — with this doodle.

Artists went through several different versions before deciding on the final doodle. 

The doodle celebrates Hadid whose distinct modern style gave us buildings such as:
